The Defense Logistics Agency J-6 division serves as the knowledge broker, providing comprehensive, best practice IT support to the Department of Defense/DLA Logistics Business Community. While the result provides expert leadership of best practices to DLA, Defense Services agencies' primary IT initiatives still focus on providing quality information systems, efficient and economical computing, data management, electronic business, and telecommunication services – at the Right Time, Right Place, Right Price, On-Demand, Every Time.

Through partnership with this industry, our innovative services deliver capabilities that support the warfighter, enable growth and development through IT program support, and mitigate IT issues associated with BRAC activities.

For these customers ICS has designed, planned, and implemented multiple security architectures. Additionally, ICS:

• Maintains Security Operations and performs Certification & Accreditation support;
• Provides System Management, and on-going Continuity of Operations (COOP) support;
• Provides Information Assurance, Help Desk, and Security Architecture support at customer facilities, including Dayton, Ohio (Security Planning and Architecture Design); Columbus, Ohio and Sterling, VA (Data Center and Security Continuity-Operations); and Dearborn, MI (Security and System Management Services on a 24x7x365 basis).
• Develops Data Center designs and Operation procedures for a secure and classified operational structure.
