ICS Wins COMMITS NexGen Contract ICS was chosen as a Tier 1 vendor under the 10 year, $8 billion, Commerce Information Technology Solutions Next Generation (COMMITS NexGen) contract. Out of hundreds of companies that bid to get on the COMMITS NexGen contract, we were one of only twenty companies selected as a Tier 1 vendor. And as a Tier 1 vendor we are allowed to compete on all opportunities under the COMMITS NexGen program regardless of size.
ICS has taken the lead in the establishment of a Consortium of companies with a wide diversity of skills to meet any agencies requirements for IT solutions and performance requirements. A formal agreement between these team members has been established to insure a strong unity and cohesiveness while working together to bring effective solutions to any Federal Agency.
The members of the ICS Consortium are: ARINC, Bowhead, Hewlett-Packard (HP), LJT & Associates, Pangia, Presidio, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC), and ICS. All members have a working relationship and have provided solutions for the Federal government in the past. The combination of these members brings a powerful set of companies together, ready to quickly respond to any procurement opportunity.
The ICS Consortium brings a unique opportunity for Federal agencies to experience the benefits of working with a large company and a small company at the same time. From small tasks to large complex programs, the ICS Consortium has the skills, size, and government experience to provide complete solutions to every government IT requirement.
With all of the benefits gained from our ICS Consortium we foresee a strong and bright future within the COMMITS NexGen program. We hope this vehicle will be a stepping stone for ICS to reach into new agencies and further our name recognition.
