Department of Transportation Awards $11.4M Contract to Integrated Communication Solutions, Inc. for Data Center Hosting & Emergency Readiness & Disaster Recovery Site Support

Frederick, MD – Integrated Communication Solutions announced today that it has been awarded a contract from the Department of Transportation to provide Data Center Hosting, Server Operations, and Emergency Relocation/Disaster Recovery and Incident Management Center Support Services.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) serves as the principal advisor to the Secretary of Transportation on matters involving information and technology and is responsible for several mission critical information technology (IT) systems. ICS will provide a complete solution for the department’s Server Operations, and Emergency Readiness and Disaster Recovery with Incident Management Center capabilities.

Under this new contract DOT will utilize the ICS Data Center Hosting facilities, Emergency Relocation/Disaster Recovery (ER/DR) facilities, and Incident Management Center (IMC) facilities. Engineering Support will be provided, along with related support services including Network and Security Engineering Services, Certification and Accreditation Support, and 24x7 IMC Support.
