ICS wins large DTS-PO contract

On June 13, 2006, ten months after the original proposal submission, the Diplomatic Telecommunications Services-Program Office (DTS-PO) awarded ICS, a classified, 5 year $20 Million contract with options up to $50 million. The contract is called the Combined Engineering Support II (CESII) contract and is an expansion of the engineering and operations support work ICS has been providing at DTS-PO for the past 12 years. In addition to our existing network engineering and operations tasks, the CESII contract calls for satellite engineering, system integration, systems engineering, security services, and project management support services. The base contract is for 23 positions, with potential expansion up to a total of 52 positions. ICS has two subcontractors under this program, Harris Corporation primarily for satellite engineering and Raytheon for security services.
