ICS Wins 3 DOT Task Orders

ICS was awarded three (3) task orders to perform full-scale Certification and Accreditations on several systems for the Department of Transportation. The first two systems are managed by DOT's Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Administration. One is a web-based system that tracks requests, approvals, and denials of transfer of hazardous materials throughout the United States. The other is the system for managing gas pipeline risks and inspections.

Another system that ICS is conducting work on for the Department is a system that serves as the database for all transportation related proposed rules that must be followed, after enactment, by all transportation modes in the United States. For each system, ICS is developing, in concert with the Government, Security Plans, Risk Assessments, and Contingency Plans. Additionally, ICS will be conducting a full-scale Security Test and Evaluation of each system to review its management, technical, and operational controls.
